Houston, we have a (chronic) problem

Yes the title is a well worn phrase when discussing anything that's gone wrong, especially in the Lone Star state. But when discussing Yao Ming and his now uncertain to unlikely NBA future, the phrase is well deserved.

A little explanation

So two posts in, some may be wondering why "potpourri" was chosen and how it relates to sports. Well if it sticks in your head then my job is done, but I will explain.
Dictionary.com defines potpourri as:
 1.       a mixture of dried petals of roses or other flowers with spices, kept in a jar for their fragrance.
2. a musical medley.
3. a collection of miscellaneous literary extracts.
4. any mixture, esp. of unrelated objects, subjects, etc.

Shut the Door, the Draft is Freezing

This year's NBA draft has come and gone, and unless you get paid to sell the NBA to people like myself, you are wondering what the fuss was about outside the first 2 picks.
